Having received 44 entrants for the 50th Edition of Stanbic Uganda Cup Kampala Region is get closer to the main draw where they expect four Representatives.
In search for the four teams to take part in National round of 64 Kampala Region round of 16 is set for Thursday 28th December 2023 at different grounds
New Life Katereke will travel to Kawempe where they will face Mboga United at Kawempe Moslems on Thursday 4PM.
Mbogo United earlier eliminated Wembley Boys 4-2 at round of 32 while New Life Katereke passed Kansanga Half London 3-0 at same stage.
The winner of Mbogo United and New Life Katereke tie shall face either Irish or Nsabya FC at Quarter finals.
Irish who started their campaign at first round to eliminate Mulago by 3-2 goals before passing Lukuli Hearts by 2-0 while their opponent Nsambya FC they are yet to have a minute of play having passed Tooro United by walkover and they are expected to have their first touch on Thursday at Nakivubo Blue Primary.
At the same day Kireka FC shall take on Buganda Road at Kigwa having Terranova FC and Lufula in their road to main draw.
Ntinda United shall host Police Young at Highland Park and the winner will face another winner from Kirinya and Ggaba after the match which will be taking action at Maroons ground Luzira.
Also at Round of 16 Black Star FC will play against Water FC at Kanyaya while Kyambogo shall be facing off with Lungujja Galaxy at St Mbaga and only team out the four teams that will have a chance of taking part in the main draw.
All round of 16 games shall take place on Thursday 28th 2023 with winners playing against at Quarter finals on 3rd January 2024 as 4 winners from quarter Finals will have a chance to play at Main Stanbic Uganda Cup at Round of 64.
