Startimes Uganda confirm broadcast of 2023 AFCON

Today,Friday January 5th, StarTimes Uganda has revealed good news of securing rights to broadcast the continental showpiece.

This followed a shocking announcement, Super Sport, a major African continental broadcaster when issued out a statement that it won’t be able to broadcast the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations( AFCON).

The decision made rounds online, raising concerns over the company’s commitment to the continent and it’s customers.

Scattered across and Uganda would be among the affected Sub-Saharan countries in doubt to catch up the showdown.

The Uganda national football league broadcasters, also assured it’s viewers that all the 52 games will be live until the ultimate winner is declared.

With  this communication, breaks the gap on the disadvantaged people who previously looked puzzled.

Contested by 24 countries, AFCON is one of the biggest competitions every person would love to witness. The culture, diversity, glamour and stars from different parts of the globe.

Ivory Coast are the official hosts for this year’s edition, running from 13th January to 11 February, 2024.
