State Attorney Remanded Over Shs100m Bribe

The State House Anti corruption Unit has arraigned Tusubira Sam, a State Attorney at the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs before the Anti-Corruption Court on 16 counts of corruption.

The accused while representing government in court, solicited for a bribe of UGX100M from a plaintiff who had sued the Ministry of Lands and the Attorney General for irregular cancellation of his title, in order to assist the victim get compensated.

By time of his arrest he had recieved about Shs43M from the victim. 

He has been remanded until 19th August 2024
