SC Villa show class over Mbarara City to register their maiden victory(3-1) in the new season at Mandela National Stadium.

David Owori capitalized on mistake made by Mbarara City left back Jasper Ahebwa who failed to decide whether to clear off the ball or pass it and eventually slipped down to pave way for Owori to run and put the ball at the back of the net to put Villa into the lead in 33′ before Kalyowa Emmanuel 44′ doubling the lead to make it 2-0 at half time.

Mucurezi Paul Mucwerezi set up Brian Ahebwa in 73′ to score his second goal in the new season to make it 2-1.

Kirya Ambrose scored the third goal for SC Villa to kill the game with 15 minutes left to the end of the game.

SC Villa continue to show an edge in this fixture with Joogo registering it’s third win managing adraw and aloss.
