Uganda’s number one professional boxer, Sulaiman Ssegawa aka Sula Segawa is very confident to contend for World Boxing Council (WBC) Gold Featherweight title.

Ssegawa was caught commenting on his win against USA’s Ruben Villa.

Via whatsapp, Segawa said that this win means alot to him, Ugandans East Africans and Africans at large because it was not easy to out box Ruben Villa because he was contender number one for the WBC Gold while I was contender number 29, so if you see the gap in between us, it was not easy for me to get that win but all in all, I thank the Almighty Allah for the victory.

Ssegawa, won the WBC Silver Featherweight title last weekend after winning American Ruben Villa on points after a 10 rounds fight.

I think after one week, WBC will again update on the ranking and i think, i will either be number one or among the top 3 contender for the WBC Gold.

Ssegawa, went on to say that his dream is to win the WBC belt, the program which he is about to achieve.

Ssegawa, who represented the Bombers in 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympic games, per now is the number one leading Ugandan professional boxer and based in USA.

Segawa ,concluded by asking Ugandans to keep praying for him.
