After a 1:0 win over NEC FC at Bugolobi Coffee ground which returned the based side, Kitara fc to the top of the table with 40 points, the president of the club, mr. Deo Kasozi Aheebwa warned super division clubs to be aware of kitara fc, “because anytime we are coming back with serious attitude towards the league this time”.
“Our target is to emerge as Big League leaders or among the first three teams”,kitara president,states.
Kitara,yesterday defeated their arch rivals Nec at their home ground in bugolobi, to become table leaders and will now face tough competition from Mbarara City and Police FC in the battle of who qualifies first from the send tie, Big league.
Kitara, under coach Sam Ssimbwa recruited new players like George Ssenkaaba, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Farouk Katongole, Paul Muchureezi among others to help the club to progress through.
