Table Tennis: Sebatindira Aims to defend World tittle in Qatar

World Under 11 champion Joseph Sebatindira will travel to Qatar on 21st January 2024 for World Junior championship.

At the event which shall take action between 22nd to 25th January 2024. Nine year old Sebatindira as the only Ugandan at the Championship will look to defend the tittle which he won last year wen he defeated all his opponents in last year’s October.

The Nakasero primary kid won the Under 11 category with 3 – 0 sets win over Egyptian Eyad Hussein having passed the then world’s 3rd Ranked Al-Kuwari Rabeah of Qatar) 3-0 and Kazakhstan’s Arsen Askar 3-1 in his run from nothing to world’s under 10 top seed.

Under the guidance of Coach Alvin Katamba, Sebatindira has never looked back from his form at world table tennis youth Contender in Cairo Egypt, and has recently became Uganda’s seed number three to secure a slot to all of Africa games which will take place in Accra Ghana this coming March.
