As the 2023 FUFA Drum getting to the closing end defending Champion West Nile trashed Buganda province as they reach semifinal.
West Nile through Gadafi Wahab’s goal defeated Buganda 1-0 win in the fixture recap played at Kavumba Recreation center on Sunday 12th November 2023.
Following a 2 all draw played last weekend West Nile won the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
With the defending Champion becoming the first province to get the fit in Semifinal they got joined by Teso which piped Kigezi 3-1 on aggregate after playing a 1-1 draw in a match delayed by flooding Kihihi high school play ground.
The game which had to take action on Sunday 12th November was forced to postponement to 13th afternoon due to the bad weather conditions.
Teso whom won the first leg 2-1 at their home, sharing spoils had to be the confirmation of their Semifinal appearance.
While waiting for another Quarter final return leg on Sunday 19th November 2023.
Busoga and Lango are favorites as they both have a 2 goals advantage over their opponents in the first leg games as Busoga registered a 3-1 win against Tooro and Lango defeated Acholi 2-0 as well.
