Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the 31 man team to Kenya for Sunday’s international build up arrived safely in Nairobo on Friday aboard Uganda Airlines.
There are 19 players and 12 officials who will travel for the Kenyan capital of Nairobi on Friday morning (6 AM) aboard the bombardier Uganda Airlines.
Experienced attacker Emmanuel Okwi will captain the team and deputised by Timothy Awany. The other foreign based players on the team are Khalid Aucho, Allan Kyambadde, Tadeo Lwanga and Kizito Luwagga.
The rest of the players on the team are from the clubs in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The local based players trained on Thursday morning at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo in preparation for the game.
The match will be played at the Moi International Stadium, Kasarani on Sunday, 8th September 2019 at 4 PM.
FUFA Executive committee member Rasoul Aliga is the Leader of Delegation.
