The conference for African countries for companies in charge of aeroplanes flights in Africa which is known as African Airlines Association (AFRAA) General assembly has started today 20/11/2023 at Speke Resort Munyonyo with a call to women to get involved in the flight jobs.

This 55th conference was organised by the Uganda Airlines and it has been attended by over 500 officials and diginitories from African countries.

The AFRAA conference is to take 2 days and experts in aeroplane flights are to discuss issues concerning how to promote the use of aeroplanes as a means of transport in African countries, marketing of the use of aeroplanes and encouraging women to get involved in this kind of jobs.

AFRAA president 2023 and Director for Uganda Airlines Jennifer Bamuturaki noted that among the issues they are to talk about during this conference, is making the rules and governing aeroplane flight in the market practical so that the business can be well guided.

With this, she expressed hope that the challenges that have been facing the business due to not considering the rules and guidelines are resolved thereby streamlining the business.
