The Archbishop of the Seventh Day Adventist church Pastor Dr. Moses Maka Ndimukika with his team paid a courtesy visit to the Buganda Premier Owek Charles Peter Mayiga with an aim of appreciating the King for appointing Owek Mayiga as the Katikkiro of Buganda.
While addressing the team at his office in Bulange Mengo, The Buganda Premier Owek Charles Peter Mayiga appealed to all religions and churches to respect different cultures since they dont contradict religions, which will help people respect their cultures even when they believe in their religions.

Owek Mayiga commended the Seventh day Adventist church for the efforts they put especially in the education and the health sector. This is due to the fact that the Seventh day Adventist schools not only produce students with good grades but they groom their students with morals that help them succeed in life even after school.
“The king told me top promote unity among the kingdom people however much they are different. To fulfill this, i have made sure that i treat all people with fairness and equality through doing what is right and emphasising the truth.” Owek. Mayiga emphasised.

He added that, with the support from his team, they are trying hard to fulfill the king’s call as it is one of the 5 kingdom pillars.
Owek. Mayiga also emphasised that he believes that when the kingdom people come together and work for fairness, equality and the truth, irrespective of religions and political parties, the kingdom will be able to overcome any challenges that comes its way and truly attain its goals.
Archbishop Dr. Pastor Moses Maka Ndimukika commended the Katikkiro for always considering the Seventh day Adventist church in all the kingdom programs equally like other religions thereby promoting unity and togetherness.

He noted that the kingdom has been going through financial challenges but the Katikkiro has tried his best to devise means of getting money sources for the kingdom, noting the Tofaali project and its achievements.
He has been accompanied by Pastor Kakembo with his wife, Pastor Lubwama and Pastor Ssemwogerere from North and West Buganda, church elders among other people.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church has donated gifts to the Katikkiro and contributed 10 million shillings towards the kingdom development.
