The well-known Tiktok Street Evangelist David Kaita has today Friday 22 September 2023 Morning has served the Kampala Street children with morning tea.
Kaita has assembled over 30 Street children this Morning on Kampala road where he normally conduct his online Street preaching. He has served them with tea, bread, and other breakfirst stuffs.
Kaita said, he was once in that situation where he was not loved by his mother, when father had died by then. So from that background he cannot leave to see any person suffering and he fail to help especially when he is now having the ability to help.
He added that over 1500 children are on streets of Kampala and other Cities or towns countrywide, facing problems of rape, Homosexuality attempts, luck of food and medication among others and when it rains they don’t have where to sleep.
When asked how they survive for lunch and supper, Kawalya Jude one of the street children said they collect boxes and bottles which they sell to get money for food and other Survivals.
Mr. Kaita also said, people should stop calling these children thieves because not all of them are thieves. “Even at Parliament and state house thieves are there”, “When you continuously call them thieves you may force them to steal. “He said
“All pastors should preach the good message with actions instead preaching the gospel of hatred to the people they shepherd. “He added.
Kaita lastly advised people to help the street children and other people in need.
