Jonson at Entebbe Airport on Saturday
The Crested Cranes captain Tracy Johnson Akir has on Saturday 17th August leave the country for USA as she joins Seminole state college for studies and professional football.
Johnson has also been the captain of FUFA women’s Elite league record champion Kawempe Muslim SS FC, she was part of the crested cranes team that took part in CECAFA Women’s championship, she played part in the crested cranes team that participated in COSAFA Cup tournament 2018 South Africa.
The brilliant midfielder who was full of joy said while the Airport Entebbe,”It’s my pleasure to thank everyone who have supported me from childhood to where am no.
I thank my parents for the love and support, my team kawempe Muslim ladies team , can’t mention all the memories but I will always be a warrior.”
Coach Ayub Khalifan and Coach Nkata plus all the technical team of kawempe Muslim thank you for the opportunity you gave me.
My team mate will always miss you, can’t forget late Adubango Rehema rest in peace.
I thank FUFA and the technical team of the Crested Cranes for the trust rendered to me to be the captain of this team, i will always work hard for my country any time.

She who was the MVP FUFA women’s Elite league 2017/2018 season, will be joining other three Ugandan players and former team mates at Kawempe Muslim ladies team, Sandra Nabweteme, Joan Nakirya and Yudaya Nakayenze all at Seminole state college.
