This was revealed by the DP President Norbert Mao during their weekly press conference held at the party’s headquarters at Balintuma Road in Lubaga Division, saying that the party has exhibited its strength through the numbers of people yearning to run on its ticket in the 2021 general elections.
He also disclosed that they have extended dates for picking nomination forms for aspirants willing to run on the party ticket as Members of Parliament and City Mayors to Monday September 7th 2020.
Meanwhile, today some party members have returned their forms to contest in different parts of the country; these include Musoke Sserunjogi for Kampala Central Mayorship, Eng. Richard Ssebamala for MP Bukoto Central among others.
