The organizing committee for the return and celebrations ahead of the return of the Omumbere have revealed that they have printed receipts to be issued to whoever will contribute towards the 3 activities of the celebrations.

The 3 activities to be conducted are the welcoming the Omusinga upon his return to the Kingdom, preparing a massive ceremony to welcome him and to buy a hotel as his new residence which in total is budgeted to take over 9 billion shillings.

Buying a new residence follows the fact that the security officers destroyed the Omusinga’s palace and according to his subjects, it is no longer fit to be used as the Royal palace thereby deciding to buy him a new residence at the spring international hotel along kilembe road in Kasese town.

The Secretary for the organizing committee for the return of Omusinga, Clarence Bwambale said that for the sake of accountability and transparency, they have decided to print receipts with water marks and the account numbers in Centenary bank called Rwenzururu construction fund 3100001492 with the mobile money number 0772988313 in the names of Eng. Rev Fataki Gabriel, the committee Treasurer.

It was confirmed that the only two people who will sign on the receipts are Walemba Nathiel Mumbere and Eng. Rev Fataki Gabriel.

Bwambale cautioned the Rwenzururu people to be careful towards people who may come to collect money from them without receipts signed by the Chairman and Treasurer of the organizing committee.

He expressed hope that the subjects in Kasese will highly contribute towards the common cause and have friends in Kampala who are also willing to contribute.

One of the subjects in Rwenzururu Baluku Joakim was excited about the transparency and pledged to do whatever he can to contribute towards the common cause.
