The last National Rally Championship [NRC] round which is the seventh round was launched on Tuesday November 5th morning at Hotel Triangle , Buganda Road.
The event which is referred to as the Kabalega rally which take place in Bunyoro region on 22 November -24 .
The event will start with the scruitengeering on Friday, 22 November starting from 9am.
According to Charles Ssemengo, who is the clerk of the course [COC], the event will have a total distance of 228km with the competitive section having a distance of 126.9km while the transport section having a distance of 122km.
This event is organised by United Motorsports Club [UMSPOC] and MOSAC.
While addressing the press, the event manager, Alex Kikonyogo states that the security is ok because Police and Military will be on duty during the event to ensure all people are secured.
Johnson Were, the UMSPOC President, thanks the press for their good work towards the development of Motorsport in Uganda.
The event will be a title decider for the 2024 NRC Champion because only three points separate the first two leaders.
Jas Mangat is leading per now with 260 points and only needs to win this rally to claim Championship while Ronald Sebuguzi who is second with 257 who also needs to win the rally to be crowned as Champion and Moustapha Mukasa on third position with 225 points .
