In-form Jadon Sancho and Borussia Dortmund head to Switzerland for their final pre-season friendly of 2019/20 against St. Gallen on Tuesday (kick-off 7.55pm as they prepare to host champions Bayern Munich in Saturday’s Super cup.

St. Gallen have already begun their new domestic campaign, losing 2-0 at home to Lucerne ahead of a 2-1 win against Basel on Saturday. The Swiss side signed American goalkeeper Jonathan Klansmann, son of former USA nation team manager and Germany coach Jürgen Klansmann from Hertha Berlin during the summer, and the 22-year-old could feature after remaining on the bench in St. Gallen’s opening three league games. Dortmund head to Switzerland on the back of a comfortable 4-1 over Udinese, which followed a successful tour to the USA comprising a 3-1 triumph over Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders and a 3-2 victory against European champions Liverpool in Notre Dame. American prospect Gio Reyna made his third senior appearance for BVB against Udinese, and was one of 21 outfield players coach Lucien Favre deployed during the game. Thorgan Hazard picked up an ankle knock after opening the scoring, though, and is unlikely be risked. He is joined on the sidelines by fellow summer arrival Julian Brandt.
