A heavily loaded truck this morning rammed traffic. Along the Ntinda- Najjera road demaging up to 8 vehicles.
The truck number UAX 495M was heading towards Ntinda when it failed to brake at a slope, at a place known as Kavule Hotel Eliana.
Atleast one person abodaboda rider was severely injured as the truck brushed him before it flipped.
Several other persons including passengers in a tax also sustained serious injuries.
Traffic was completely cut off on the normally busy road, with all Kampala bounched vehicles being diverted towards Nalya.
Traffic officer Sekajja said the truck driver was still unidentified.
“He jumped out and run we are still hunting for him and the owner”, he said.
Sekajja says the number of victims was still unknown.
He also urged drivers heading this direction to use the Northern Bypass.
