As the para olympic badminton tournament is still going on at Lugogo mtn arena, today the Uganda badminton association have a smile after successfully parterned with Hema beverages, a water company.
Hema beverages, gave 200 cartoons of water to the Badminton association to be used by participants during the tournament. The 200 cartoons of water is worthy 1.5 million shilings, according to Robert Kigula, a sales and marketing at Hema beverages.
The para olympic badminton will come to climax on Sunday and Indians are still dominating the tournament.
Annet Nakamya, a chairperson of Uganda badminton association, thanked the Hema beverages for this patternship and believe that this has helped them alot to push this tournament.
According to Mohamed Rofz, finance chairman at Uganda badminton association, also thanked Hema water for this support and promise them a good patternship.
Robert Kigula, sales and marketing manager interms of sponsorship , said that the reason why they have decided to pattern with Badminton because we know that every sportsmen and women needs water to perform well and we promise to continue with this pattern.
Dr Venkata Krishnan, a marketing manager at Uganda badminton association, thanked Hema beverages for the good heart they have towards this game and appeal to other companies to come on board and support the game.
