The Uganda Cranes have on Tuesday morning departed for Ouagadougou ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier away to Burkina Faso.
The Cranes will take on the Stallions on Wednesday night at the Stade du 4 Aout in their opening contest of the qualifiers.
A total of 16 players left Entebbe at around 1am aboard Uganda Airlines and are expected to touch down in Ouagadougou later in the day.
While there, they will be joined by the other 7 players who will connect from their respective countries from which they play professional football.
The team will hold their last training on Tuesday evening.
Uganda will take on Burkina Faso and then fly directly back to Kampala to prepare for their next game, at home to Malawi at the Mandela National Stadium in Namboole this weekend.
