Uganda Cranes has left for Katakwi Prior To North East Regional Tour game

Uganda Cranes Regional Tour:

  • Saturday, 9th November 2019
  • North East Vs Uganda Cranes
  • Katakwi Ground

The Uganda Cranes conducted their first training session on Thursday afternoon at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo prior to the North East region due this weekend.

A total of 22 players took part in the hour and a half session under head coach Johnathan McKinstry, first assistant Abdallah Mubiru and goalkeeping coach, Fred Kajoba.

16 of these players are the local based legion with the others foreign based.

McKinstry expressed delight handling his first session with a combination of local and foreign based players and believes this is a perfect start for the AFCON 2021 qualifiers.

The Uganda Cranes will play a regional tour match in Katakwi on Saturday 9th November 2019.

This will be the third time the Uganda Cranes Regional tour heads to the region.

The tour is in line with the preparations for the upcoming Uganda Cranes participation in the CHAN Finals and also taking the Uganda Cranes brand to the masses.

The team has left for Katakwi on Friday morning.
