Uganda cranes continued preps ahead of the second leg against Somalia in the CHAN 2020 qualifiers at the KCCA Stadium on Thursday.
Uganda beat Somalia 3-1 in Djibouti and hope to finish the job when they host Somalia at Lugogo.
The session concentrated mainly on ball retention and building attacks from the back.
The team is in residential camp at Sky hotel Nalya.
Speaking after the morning training session, newly appointed captain Mustafa Mujuzi.
“I call upon the fans to come and support the team and I promise them that we are going to score goals like we did in the first leg despite having two changes to line up started away.
The Somalia national team is also in the country, they trained at Lugogo on Thursday evening and again feel the grounds on Friday.
The winner on aggregate will qualify to the final stage of the qualifiers and will face the winner between Burundi and South Sudan.
Burundi beat South Sudan 2-0 in Bujumbura in the first leg, and The 2nd leg will be played on Sunday at Lugogo where South Sudan decided to host it from due to the war at home.
