Uganda Cranes interim head coach Abdallah Mubiru has summoned a squad of 22 players for the upcoming Regional Tour match against West Nile.

Among the players summoned, they include a host of individuals that did not make the match-day squad in Bujumbura but were initially part of the set-up.

Joel Mutakubwa, Benson Tahomera, David Owori, Paul Mucureezi, Saidi Kyeyune, Joel Madondo, Ashraf Mandela and Gadafi Wahabu have all been included. All 8 were not part of the team that travelled to Bujumbura last week.

Onduparaka left-back Rashid Okocha and Mbarara City’s Ibrahim Orit have also been included and are in line for their debuts.

As per the program, the team is expected to depart Kampala on Friday morning and will make a stop over in Gulu.

While in Gulu, they will hold a training session at Pece Stadium, in the evening and will set off for Adjumani on Saturday morning.
