UNEB cautions heads of centres, the public against fraudsters who claim to have access to UNEB grading system as 2023 PLE results release is expected this week.

As 2023 UNEB candidates and their parents are eagerly waiting for the release of their results, the Uganda National Examinations Board has discovered that fraudsters are getting money from heads of centres and the public with an intention of accessing the UNEB grading system and change their candidates grades.

The UNEB Spokesperson Jennifer Kalule Musamba revealed that as UNEB prepares to release the examination results for 2023.

“It has come to our attention that there are some imposters who are conning headteachers and school directors of money allegedly to either help them to improve the grades of their candidates or to remove them from the list of schools which are suspected to have indulged in examination malpractices.”

UNEB therefore cautions heads of centres, school directors as well as the public against involvement with such fraudsters.

The UNEB results for PLE candidates are expected to be released before the end of this week.
