Uganda Premier League has announced the 2019 – 2020 season fixtures,
Match Day One and Official Opening Match.
This was done on Wednesday 14th August 2019 at a press conference held at UPL headquarters Namboole stadium.
In this fixture KCCA FC will start the journey to defend the title with the most organised side Wakiso Giants who recently were knocked out super by KCCAFC, as record champions SC Villa playing league debutantes Kyetume FC in season opener.
This season five teams have changed their home grounds from where they hosted home games last season, Police FC shited from Namboole to Kavumba, Mbarara City fc changed from Kakyeka to Luzira Prisons, Onduparaka fc shifted from Green light stadium Arua to Luzira prisons, Tooro utd fc from Buhinga to Wankulukuku, Bright Stars fc also shifted from Mwererwe to Wankulukuku.
CEO Bernard Bainamani who was franked by league manager Paul Kabaikaramu, while addressing the media, he urged the teams to be more organised than last season and should also put their fans in order to avoid disciplinary actions.

The 2019/2020 UPL league scheduled to kick off on Thursday 29th, August 2019 with only one game, Kyetume Football Club Vs Sports Club Villa – Namboole at 8:00 P.M on floodlights, then on Friday 30th, August 2019:
· URA FC Vs Maroons – Mandela National Stadium, Namboole
· Bright Stars Vs Vipers SC – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku
· Bul FC Vs Express FC – FUFA Technical Center, Njeru
· Onduparaka FC Vs Police FC – Prisons Stadium, Luzira and match day one will end on Saturday 31st, August 2019 with three matches on card as,
· Tooro United Vs Busoga United – Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku
· KCCA FC Vs Wakiso Giants – KCCA Stadium, Lugogo
· Mbarara City Vs Proline FC – Prisons Stadium, Luzira.
