URA target successive victories as winless Mbarara city visits Nakivubo

Alex Isabirye’s URA FC will be out to fight for a second consecutive win when they host Mbarara City FC who is yet to register a single win in the Star times Uganda premier league.

The Tax Collectors played their two opening games away from home after they lost 1-0 to KCCA FC at Lugogo and defeated Soltilo Bright Stars 1-0 at Kavumba courtesy of Ivan Ahimbisibwe’s goal.

On the other hand, Mbarara City will be fighting for their first victory this season.

The Ankole Lions lost the league opener 4-2 to SC Villa at Wankulukuku and played to a goalless draw with Police FC at Kakyeka.

URA FC will miss out Abdu Magada, Denis Kisiriko, John Kisolo and Godfrey Sekibengo. The trio is engaged with the national U-20 team.

Justin Opira and defender Joseph Bright Vuni are also ruled out due to respective injuries, Isma Mugulusi will be subjected to a late fitness test.

Mbarara city will have to engage top gear if they are to pick any points off URA.
They welcome back Eric Kimbowa and James Begesa.

The last ten meetings between the two sides have seen URA FC win four, Mbarara City one and the six have ended in stalemates.
