USSSA is all about creating mass sport as they expand Ball games two

Currently different Zones are undergoing the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) viral qualifications for the 2024 Ball games II.

With the Association that governs sports in secondary Schools looking for ways of opening more sports participating opportunities for all students, The Association decided to keep opening new participating platform.
From Usual Ball games two which have been organised at once to get divided into two championship.

The championship has been splitted into championships, FEASSA games qualifiers and none FEASSA games.

With the qualifying for FEASSA games are up to take action between 16 to 17 July.
Netball, Basketball 3 on 3, Volleyball, Rugby 7s, Handball, Athletics and Cross Country.

All sports Disciplines shall accommodate Boys and girls except Netball which will be only for girls.

The championship is expected to have over 1500 playing participants.

On the split of None qualifying games shall come to action Immediately after the August games which is slated for 16 to 27.

The games expansion shall utilize these none FEASSA qualifying games with new disciplines getting introduced.

Mind games which dockets Ludo, Chess and Scrabble making the list of new disciplines to participated in.
Meanwhile Basketball 3X3, Netball, Volleyball Handball and Major Basketball shall be reintroduced touching new grassroot ground

The New ground shall teams participating in Under 16 for boys and girls except Netball as they will be Joining the Usual Football Under 16 and 14.

The games are scheduled for 9 days of action from 1st to 9 September at Teso College Aloet the same venue for the FEASSA qualifying games in July.

The development was disclosed by the Uganda Secondary schools sports association president Justus Mugisha while giving USSSA report for the first half of 2024.

The Brief was held on Wednesday 26 June at USSSA headquarters located at Old Kampala.
