Veteran striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma retires from Bika football after Ndiga win meiden trophy

Ndiga clan football team long time and captain of the day, veteran striker, Geoffrey Sserunkuma has announced his retirement from bika football after after his clan win the first ever Bika Shield.

As the long awaited Bika Football, Netball 2022 final between Ndiga vs Lugave in football and Ngeye vs Mamba in netball, was played with numbered fans attended the final.

Ngeye defeated Mamva 35:37 in netball while Ndiga defeated Lugave 1:0 to win its first ngambo trophy with goal from George Ssenkaaba. Kattikiro of Buganda, Peter Mayiga, was the chief guest.

356 goals were scored in this bika tournament,  5 own goals were scored with Mpindi, having the highest own goals scored,  two.

Abubakar Mayanja, of Mutima, was the top scorer with 10 goals, Mike Mutyaba, of Lugave, MVP of the tournament.

Football: Ndiga 1-0 Lugave

Netball: Ngeye 37-35 Mmamba Gabunga

Third place off , Ffumbe defeated Kkobe 4:1 .
