Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers have been drawn against Botswana’s Jangweni Galaxy in the first preliminary round of the Caf Champions League season 2023.
The Venoms will host the return leg fixture as per the draws held in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday 25 July 2023.
If they win the tie over two legs, the Ugandan champions will play either South Africa’s Orlando Pirates or Djabal of Comoros.
54 clubs from 42 Member Associations are engaged in this season’s CAF Champions League.
