The Venoms have expressed their readiness ahead of their 1st home game in Caf Champions League as they welcome Guinea giants Horoya at St Mary’s Stadium kitende in what is expected to be a Pulsating affair.
According to Vipers Sc Tactician Beto Bianchi, who will also be in Charge of his 1st home game, has rallied his players to forget what happened in Casablanca.
Remember the Ugandan giants were humiliated and beaten 5-0 by Raja Casablanca last week on their debut in Caf Champions League.
The Onus is upon the Venoms to make the home advantage Count against a visiting Horoya AC if there to keep any thing positive from their debut season.
However, Vipers Sc should be extra careful against the Visitors Horoya AC who beat Simba 1-0 in the 1st game in Conakry Courtesy of Pape Abdou Ndiaye who also missed a penalty later in the game.
Vipers Sc will only miss Abdul Lumala who picked a knock in Casablanca but has returned to training as well as Marvin Young man who is out injured.
All the eyes will be on Yunus Sentamu , Martin kizza and Milton Karisa upfront if Vipers are to get some thing in this game.
On the other hand, Horoya AC named a large Contingent from Guinea since they will travel to Moroccan Giants Raja Casablanca in their next game after this encounter.
The Guinea record Champions will miss their Star player Yakhouba Barry Gnagna who is serving a four month Suspension from FIFA for his failed transfer to France.
Horoya will be heavily rely on their highly rated goal keeper Moussa Camara as well as Mory Kante and Ocansey Mandela as some of the regular players who have played an integral part in the club’s continental adventures in the past years.
Robert Bianchi on the other way will have to prove that is the man Vipers have been missing although, he has struggled to win in his 1st three games in Charge.
Vipers Sc eliminated Fufa big league Jinja North United in Stanbic Uganda cup in penalties on round of 32 on Wednesday.
“We should quickly forget the 1st match against Raja Casablanca, and must now focus on what lies ahead of us,” Beto said.
” It doesn’t help us to keep thinking of what has already happened , because we have five games to play in the group stages, so the focus should be on getting the best results possible.
“We have worked well, I have seen better reactions from the players during training the intensity is good, and am Confident that our preparations give us an advantage against Horoya AC,” Bianchi was quoted.
Horoya AC are experienced side in this Competition having gone past the group stages twice.
