The head coach of Kampala capital city authority football club (KCCA) Mike Hilary Mutebi said, that they must win the game against Onduparaka football club in the pilsner super eight tomorrow Friday 16th August 2019 at KCCA stadium, Lugogo.
“We have a believe that, we must win tomorrow’s game against Onduparaka and when we lose it, it may be bad for us because according to the statistics we are a head of Onduparaka and we usually defeat them both home and away”, Mutebi noted, in the press conference held at Kati Kati restaurant today Thursday 15th 2019 in the preparation for tomorrow’s pilsner super 8 semi final match.
“It is going to be challenging game but we must win and we are going to use this match as the preparations of the continental game against African stars”, Mutebi Mike insisted.
Whereas Onduparaka representative Sadik Sempingi said. “Our goal is to finish in the position a head of the last tourney, and in the previous tourney we lost at the final and this time round we are commandant of the trophy”, SadikSempigi the assistant coach of Onduparaka insisted on the match.
“We trained hard to avoid reputations of the previous mistakes and I know KCCA are well organized and we are at away but we are well prepared and we shall retain a win against KCCA, although we lost three connective matches but football changes every time”, Sempigi noted.
“It is big challenge for tomorrow’s game because playing a team who is organized like KCCA it is hard but this will help us to be organized”, Sempigi added.
KCCA football will miss the service of SadamJuma, Achai and Gift Ali due to the injuries, but the rest are ready for the match including the new signing, Ravit from Express and Simon Sserunkuma.
While Onduparaka will miss the service of Bidal Zara who did not travel with the team due the lost of his brother, but all the rest are set for the match.
KCCA FC beat Wakiso giant (2-0) to qualify for the semi-finals, while Onduparaka beat Tooro utd in the penalties (5-4).
The winner between the two will encounter Vipers sports club in the final who already secured the slot when they beaten Mbarara city.
In the previous games Onduparaka lost three times to KCCA, (7-0), (4-1), (1-0), thus means KCCA has upper hand to win the match.
