WHY AFRICA MUST ELECT ENG. MOSES .H. MAGOGO AS EAST & CENTRAL CAF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER DURING THIS 41ST CAF GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Today football continental body go into elections to vote for executive members to represent their zones during the 41st CAF General Assembly in Cairo, Egypt.Uganda is represented in this assembly by FUFA’s vice presidents Justus Mugisha and Darius Mugoye together with the chief executive officer Edgar Watson Suubi.
This CAF General Assembly is very special for us as Uganda and the entire region. It holds the key for the game growth and game changer as well. Uganda has never gotten a representative to the CAF top decision making body until recently when CAF presented co-opted Eng Moses Magogo to the excom for two years.
However today’s decision of electing our own to the CAF executive committee for a period of four years will top most opportunity for us and entire region. He is an already tested and approved in terms of brilliance in football adminstration and planning. East & Central Africa this is the time for the game to get right representation at continental top decision making organ.
It will be prudently viable for the region if they unanimously vote for the best candidate in the names of Eng. Moses Magogo. His achievements are visible and self explanatory. Let’s build on them and develop our beautiful game of football in East & Central CAF zone.
Eng. Moses Magogo is contesting with his fellow East African Eng. Tenga from the united republic of Tanzania. For the good of the game, our brother Eng. Tenga should step down for the good of the region.
Voting is slated for this Thursday 18-07-2019 in Cairo, Egypt at 1pm.Uganda must today stand in solidarity towards the successful election of Eng. Moses Magogo.Today’s decision will mean a lot. Modern football requires modern and competent leaders like our very own Eng. Moses Magogo.
Let’s embrace and pray for his victory. His victory is Uganda’s victory and the entire region.
