The former Mr .Kampala men’s physique 2021 Yakubu bin Hassan is set for 100,000 US dollars from Arnold Schwarzenegger classic sports festival which will run from 29,February to 3,march in Columbus, Ohio USA.
The 35 years old from Nebbi believes that, now is the time to shine on the international stage and win big for the country.
Yakubu, will compete in men’s physique category with more than 2,000 participants from different parts of the World.
Yakubu, has been under intensive training at Afro park hotel gym ,feels the joy to represent Uganda.This will be the 35 annual Arnold classic and Yakubu, will be the first Ugandan to compete in this competition.
HOW DID HE STARTED THIS GAME
Yakubu bin Hassan, said that he started fetching water for home use where he made that 6 packs and from that he realize that he can compete for the body building.
The winner for this competition, will walk away with 100,000 US dollars and each participants will get 2,000 US dollars for stepping to the stage.
WHO IS YAKUBU BIN HASSAN
He was born in the West Nile, town of Nebbi, and started body building in 2012 . He has taken part in a number of local and international events.
On local scene, his biggest achievements is winning the men’s physique category of Mr.Kampala in 2021.
Internationally, Bin Hassan won the men’s physique category in the South Africa body building championship in 2022 and his currently work as a fitness instructor at Afro park hotel.
