Uganda Premier League new entrants, Kitara FC, have confirmed the signing of Yasin Sabir.

The 19-year-old winger has joined the Royals from UPDF FC, where he has been playing since 2021.

At Kitara FC, the right-footed winger has penned a one-year working contract until the end of June 2024.

Sabir has followed Coach Brian Ssenyondo and Shafiq Magogo, who were both at the Army side last season.

In addition to UPDF FC, Sabir has played for Naguru Police Kids, where his football journey started, before moving to Proline Academy.

Synergy FC was his first senior team where he played before crossing over to UPDF FC at the start of the 2021/22 campaign.

Kitara FC gained promotion to the top flight after topping the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season table, hence becoming champions.
