Eddy Gombya, commonly known as ssalongo a zhurukhan president on Thursday morning unveiled the federation office to journalists. The office is located on Kampala road near mapeera building.
During the unveiling of his office, Gombya also used the opportunity to welcome back the 8 members of team Uganda from Rwanda.
The team Uganda, participated in the just concluded Genocide memorial tournament held in Rwanda from 17-20, June, 2023.
Uganda, got three medals, one gold and two silvers where Ivan Ssenyondo commonly known as Wong got gold, Jonathan Mugwisa got silver and Deo Bago also got silver.
The team participated in the wushu, which was a martial arts demonstration and sand, which was inform of kickboxing.
Robert Kizito, the team coach, thanked the federation president for enabling the team to participate in the tournament and also the players.
Eddie Gombya, when addressing the journalists, said it’s time to work and i brlieve we are going to promote this game to where it has to be and also appeal to other federation presidents to inquire from those who understand what they don’t know.
