FUFA through communications director Ahmad Hussein has on Friday August 9 issued statement indicating that, out of the 16 UPL clubs that submitted the mandatory requirements only two, KCCA FC and Kitara FC have fully certified the necessary requirements and classified them as category One and others are classified in category two and three depending on the certified by the FUFA club licensing committee.

However, the deadline of clubs having a minimum of eighteen (18) players approved on the FUFA Connect system was extended to 15th August 2024.

The Club Licensing Committee also convened meetings between 1st to 5th August 2024 to review and evaluate the documents submitted by clubs for final decisions.
