Buddo Secondary School defeated Elite high school 52-34 in the Boys Basketball Semifinal played at Wakisha Research Center on Friday 12th April 2024.
James Obrac played a big role for Buddo by posting 15 points while guiding his team to the final, Buddo SS will now be taking on Mbogo Mixed, a team which was guided to the same stage by Kawai Deng who scored 14 points for his side to eliminate St. Peter’s ss Naalya as they registered a 61-32 win in other Semifinal game played earlier before Buddo’s game.
The venue did not only decide on who is in the final but it hosted two classification matches to decide who is finishing third in Boys and Girls
In girls third place match Buddo SS who lost their Semifinal to St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende on Thursday 4th April also at Wakisha Research Center defeated Mbogo Mixed secondary School 53-26.
For reminder Mbogo Mixed secondary School lost their Semifinal to St Noa Girls on same day when Buddo ss was losing theirs.
In boys Elite High School defeated St Peter Naalya to finish third in boys Basketball.
Besides that, Buddo SS and Mbogo Mixed secondary School shall have to wait until Sunday 14 April to faceoff in the final game to decide who will be crowned this year’s boys Basketball Champions while St Noa Girls will be taking on St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende in girls category at Wakisha Research Center.
