SSERUNJOGI WARNS SHADIR AND KABONA AS FORTEBET REAL STARS MONTHLY AWARDS BEST DECEMBER 2023 ANNOUNCED

At the  Forte Bet Real Stars awarding ceremony which was held today, Tuesday January 9th morning at Lazio restaurant, Kololo, Uganda’s number one professional middleweight boxer John Sserujogi warns his fellow Shadir Musa and Ssalongo Meddie Kabona , if they are to face him.

Sserunjogi, addressed this after being awarded by Real Stars as the best boxer for the month of December after knocking down Guinea’s Ibo Maier in second round in Guinea for the WBA Africa and became the first Ugandan professional boxer to win this WBA Africa away in the last 10 years .

Other winners in different sports disciplines include;

FOOTBALL

Abraham Tusubira of Maroons walked away with the award after beating Shaban Muhammad of KCCA FC and Ivan Bogere of SC Villa. Tusubira, played five games for Maroons in December, scoring 2 goals and made 5 assists and those five games, Maroons won 3 and drew 2.

CRICKET

Rita Musamali, a Victoria Pears all rounder won the award after beating Henry Ssenyondo and Consy Aweko.

Rita, raised her game where it matters most with a woman of the match performance in Entebbe to take Uganda Victoria pearls to their second global T20 World Cup Qualifier after beating Tanzania by 10 runs. Throughout the ICC women’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier, Rita collected 107 runs from 130 balls for Uganda, standing third in the tournament.

RUGBY

Jude Jjuuko won this category after beating Alhaji Manano and Pius Mpoza.

Jjuuko, the forward guided his newly league promoted club, Kampani Eagles to their first Rugby Uganda Cup Quarter finals . Jjuuko, played four games in December, winning 3 and losing 1.

Isaac Mukasa, the CEO of Real Stars monthly awards, congratulated the winners for their efforts and thanked the press for promoting this product for the last five years.
