As the Nakivubo War Memorial stadium long waiting set for an End, the Organising committee is on closing remarks for the reopening event

In Boxing the second last teaser have been authored on Tuesday May 28th at the stadium sight.
There will be three fights following Football schedule and other sporting activities marking the end of 8 years of Nakivubo war Memorial stadium redevelopment.

Isaac Zebra Ssenyange Jr who was at first scheduled fight against Ibrahim Kitaka will now face Abas Sseguya in the national middleweight title fight as the female bout will be between Zahara Nandawula and Flavia Babirye and Kickboxing trailblazer fight between Moses Golola of Uganda and former world Muay Thai Kick boxing champion Umar Semata.

At the media address, Isaac Zebra Ssenyange Jr speaking ahead of the incoming outing as he eyes to extend his 100% professional winning run against Sseguya.

“I am only targeting to win this National title/belt. I have had enough preparations and I am ready, My fans and all those who enjoys most should expect an electric show from me because after this match am targeting a continental challenge”

Zebra Jr’s opponent Abas Sseguya also didn’t miss the event ahead of his 6th career professional fight.

“I’m prepared and ready for the fight and I believe to have had enough training to win the day. I have been following his previous fights, but I will treat him totally different.

I don’t want to know more about how he has knocked down his opponents, this is a title fight I must win”. Sseguya cited.

Previously Sseguya have had 5 fight winning 4 and losing one to Farahat Manirola.

Boxing schedules shall open up with Zahara Nandawula facing Flavia Babirye in the lightweight bout immediately after football program as the event climaxing it’s sporting menue with a Grand kickboxing fight between legends, Golola and Ssemata.

The two Uganda’s great Kick Boxer will be meeting for the third time with the previous two shared as Semata won the first meeting on points in 2018 and Golola took the rematch in 2019.

All the schedules are targeted celebrations upon the completion of the 25000 seater stadium in the modern form with basketball, Netball courts, gym, two boxing rings and football pitch as well accommodated by the dubbed Hamz Stadium Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds.
