Ugandan Powerhouses Storm into FEASSA Boys Football Semi-Finals: Amus College, St Mary’s Kitende, and Bukedea Comprehensive Lead the Charge

The ongoing FEASSA Championship has seen some thrilling performances, especially from the Ugandan teams who are making a strong statement in the Boys Football category.

Amus College School, one of the co-hosts, has shown their dominance on the field, securing a spot in the semi-finals with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Kalangalala Secondary School from Tanzania. This win capped off an impressive group stage run, where they remained unbeaten, finishing top of Group B with 10 points.

Their disciplined defense and potent attack have made them one of the teams to watch as the tournament progresses.

Defending champions, St Mary’s Kitende, continued their reign of excellence with a commanding 3-0 win against St Joseph’s Kitale from Kenya.

Topping Group A with 10 points, St Mary’s Kitende have sent a clear message to their rivals that they are determined to retain their title.

Their tactical prowess and experience have once again placed them in the semi-finals, where they will be aiming to continue their impressive run.

Another Ugandan co-host, Bukedea Comprehensive School, has also secured their place in the semi-finals.

Their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Highway Secondary School from Kenya was enough to see them finish second in Group A with 8 points.

Bukedea Comprehensive’s resilience and ability to grind out results have earned them a well-deserved spot in the next stage of the competition.

As the tournament enters the semi-final stage, the Ugandan teams, particularly the co-hosts, have demonstrated their footballing prowess and will be looking to bring the title home.
