Church of Uganda in Mukono engages in soccer fundraising game against Kyaggwe county leaders

As the Masaza football tournament prepares to get underway, Kyaggwe County Chiefs and Church of Uganda leaders in Kyaggwe County engaged in a friendly football match to secure funds to support the activities of the team throughout the 2024 tournament.

During this match that took place on Sunday 21st April 2024 at Bishop’s Senior Secondary School main playground in Mukono, other people were also engaged in the fundraising where over 50 million Uganda shillings was collected, both in cash and pledges.

The Archbishop of the church of Uganda His Grace Dr. Samuel Steven Kazimba Mugalu who is also a born child of kyagwe county blessed the team and urged them to put God first in whatever they do so that they can be able to take on the team activities and win.

Representing Buganda Kingdom, the second Deputy Katikkiro of Buganda Kingdom Owek Robert Wagwa Nsibirwa urged Masaza county chiefs to work hard towards their counties sports teams and keep an eye on people with negative intentions.
