The State Minister of Sports Peter Ogwanga flagged off the team for Casablanca, Morocco Africa school’s games on Thursday 23rd February 2023 at Copper Chimney Restaurant in Kampala.
Buddo Ss Team will represent the country both categories, boys and girls at the 2023 Africa 3*3 School’s Basketball Championship.
National council of sports Chairman Ambrose Tashobya, Commissioner of physical Education and sports Rev.Canon Duncans Mugumya, Uganda Secondary schools sports Association president, Justus Mugisha were all present at the flag off Ceremony.
The team is expected to depart on Friday 24th 2023 to Morocco aboard Turkish Airlines.
The team boys team has players include; Gideon Aaron Kutesa( S2), Ethan Shiima(S2), Mutabingwa Elly(S3) and Herbert Junior Lumansi(S4)
The girls team has players include; Nakabugo Elizabeth (S1), Auma Angella (S3), Namyalo Christine (S4) and Daisy Happy Atukunda(S4).
